Nothing on this website or in this intake — including any questions, summaries, readiness or case "scores," assessments, suggestions, or AI-generated content — is legal advice, a legal opinion, or a recommendation, and none of it tells, advises, suggests, or encourages you to take or not take any legal action regarding your situation. No content here predicts, promises, or guarantees any result or that any case will be accepted, won, or settled.
The sole purpose of this Platform is to gather and organize your information so that you can speak with a licensed attorney who can independently evaluate your situation and advise you. Any decision to pursue, or not pursue, a legal matter is entirely your own and should be made only after consulting a licensed attorney. Using this Platform does not create an attorney-client relationship.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ICantFindALawyer platform ("Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Legal Disclaimer (collectively, "Agreement"). If you do not agree to all terms in this Agreement, you must not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
The Platform is an information-gathering and attorney-matching tool only. Our sole purpose is to:
- Collect and organize information about your legal situation through an AI-guided intake process
- Share that information with licensed attorneys who may be able to assist you
- Facilitate an initial connection between you and potential legal representation
The Platform does NOT provide legal advice, legal representation, legal opinions, or any form of legal services whatsoever.
Nothing on the Platform — including the intake questions, case summaries, readiness or case "scores," strengths/weaknesses, suggested information to gather, "next steps," or any other AI-generated or automated content — is intended to be, or should be relied upon as, legal advice, a legal opinion, or a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any legal action. Any informational content is provided solely to help you organize your own information and prepare to speak with a licensed attorney. You should not act, or decline to act, on anything you see on this Platform without first consulting a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
3. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Your use of this Platform does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and ICantFindALawyer, its operators, affiliates, employees, or any third party connected to the Platform. An attorney-client relationship is only established when you and an attorney both formally agree to such a relationship, typically through a signed engagement letter or retainer agreement.
No communication through this Platform — including AI-generated responses, case assessments, scores, or analysis — constitutes legal advice or creates any privilege.
4. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ICANTFINDALAWYER AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any actions, omissions, advice, or conduct of any attorney or legal professional you are matched with or introduced to through this Platform
- The quality, competence, suitability, ethics, or availability of any attorney or legal professional
- Any legal outcomes, case results, judgments, settlements, or lack thereof
- Any decisions you make based on information gathered, AI-generated analysis, scores, or assessments provided through the Platform
- Any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising from your use of the Platform or any attorney relationship resulting from the Platform
- Any loss of data, unauthorized access to your information, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content, legal analysis, case scoring, or attorney matching
The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
5. No Guarantee of Attorney Quality or Results
ICantFindALawyer does not endorse, recommend, guarantee, or warrant any attorney or legal professional. We do not:
- Verify attorney credentials beyond publicly available licensing information
- Guarantee any specific legal outcome or result
- Guarantee that you will be matched with or accepted by any attorney
- Assume any responsibility for the attorney-client relationship once established
- Monitor, supervise, or control the legal services provided by matched attorneys
You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting legal representation. We strongly encourage you to independently verify any attorney's credentials, disciplinary history, and qualifications.
6. AI-Generated Content & Third-Party Data Processing Disclaimer
IMPORTANT — AI & DATA PROCESSING NOTICE:
This Platform uses OpenAI's ChatGPT and other large language model (LLM) technologies to facilitate your intake process. By using this Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your conversation data, including personal information and case details you share, will be processed by third-party AI services (including but not limited to OpenAI/ChatGPT) to generate responses and case assessments
- ICantFindALawyer is not liable or responsible for any data that is transmitted to, processed by, stored by, or accessed through ChatGPT, OpenAI, or any other LLM or AI service provider used in connection with this Platform
- Third-party AI providers have their own privacy policies, data handling practices, and terms of service that govern how they process your data
- While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security, confidentiality, or handling of data once it is transmitted to third-party AI services
- AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations and should never be relied upon as legal advice
All AI-generated content, including but not limited to:
- Case assessments and viability scores
- Conversation responses from our AI intake specialist
- Case strength and weakness evaluations
- Attorney pitch summaries
is for informational purposes only, may contain errors or inaccuracies, and should NEVER be relied upon as legal advice. Always consult with a licensed attorney for advice specific to your situation.
7. Information Collection & Use (Privacy Policy)
Information We Collect:
- Personal identification: full name, phone number, email address, location
- Case details: description of legal situation, incident dates, parties involved, current status
- Documents: any files uploaded during the intake process
- Communication preferences and availability
- Conversation transcripts from the AI intake process
- Usage data: session duration, interaction patterns (anonymized)
How We Use Your Information:
- To match you with qualified, licensed attorneys in your area
- To enable attorneys to review your situation
- To generate AI-powered case assessments (for attorney review only)
- To improve our intake process through anonymized, aggregated analytics
Who Can Access Your Information:
- Licensed attorneys registered on our platform who specialize in your case type
- Platform administrators for quality assurance and technical support
- We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties
8. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement the following measures:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS)
- Access controls: Only authorized administrators and matched attorneys can access your case information
- Secure infrastructure: Our platform runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with regular security updates
- Data minimization: We only collect information necessary to connect you with an attorney
- No data selling: We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. By using this Platform, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.
9. Data Retention & Your Rights
Your information is retained for up to 24 months or until you request deletion. You have the right to:
- Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of future communications at any time
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ICantFindALawyer and its operators, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, any attorney relationship formed through the Platform, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Platform.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Age Requirement
YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO USE THIS PLATFORM.
This Platform is intended solely for adults who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. By using this Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must not access or use this Platform under any circumstances. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their access and delete all associated data. Parents or legal guardians may submit information on behalf of a minor with a legal matter, but must do so themselves and take full responsibility for the submission.
16. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Consent
IMPORTANT — TELEPHONE COMMUNICATION CONSENT:
By providing your phone number and submitting your information through this Platform, you expressly consent to be contacted by ICantFindALawyer and/or matched attorneys at the phone number you provided, including via:
- Telephone calls (including automated or pre-recorded calls)
- Text messages (SMS/MMS)
- Other electronic communications
This consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by contacting us at legal@icantfindalawyer.com. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your case status.
This consent covers communications from both ICantFindALawyer and any attorney to whom your information is referred. Each attorney you are matched with may have independent TCPA consent requirements — please review their individual policies.
17. Recording & Transcription Disclosure
This Platform uses voice recognition and transcription technology, including AI-powered real-time voice processing. By using the voice features of this Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
- Your voice conversations with the AI intake specialist (Sasha) may be transcribed and recorded in real time for the purpose of capturing your legal intake information
- Transcripts are stored securely and used solely to compile your case information for attorney review
- Voice data is processed through third-party AI services (including OpenAI) in accordance with their terms of service and privacy policies
- You have the right to review and correct any transcribed information before it is submitted to attorneys
- By activating the voice feature, you consent to recording and transcription in all jurisdictions, including two-party consent states
If you do not consent to voice recording and transcription, you may use the text-based intake option exclusively. All intake information will be captured the same way regardless of input method.
18. State-Specific Legal Disclaimer
This Platform operates across all 50 U.S. states. However, the availability of legal services, attorney licensing requirements, and applicable consumer protection laws vary significantly by state. Please be aware of the following:
- Attorney licensing: Attorneys accessible through this Platform are licensed in specific states only. A match does not guarantee that a specific attorney is licensed to practice in your state.
- California users: This Platform complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal data is collected, the right to delete personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Contact legal@icantfindalawyer.com to exercise your CCPA rights.
- State bar rules: Attorney-client matching services are regulated differently across states. In some states, referral fees between attorneys and matching services are restricted or prohibited. ICantFindALawyer operates in compliance with applicable state bar rules in jurisdictions where it operates.
- Statute of limitations: We strongly urge you to act promptly. Legal deadlines (statutes of limitations) vary by case type and state. ICantFindALawyer does not monitor your legal deadlines and is not responsible for any missed filing deadlines.
19. Cookie & Tracking Policy
This Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our services. Here is what we use and why:
- Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function. These store your session ID so your intake conversation is preserved if you refresh or return. You cannot opt out of essential cookies without disabling the service entirely.
- Session storage: We use browser sessionStorage and localStorage to maintain your intake session across page loads. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to advertising networks.
- Analytics (anonymized): We may collect anonymized usage data (page views, session duration, feature usage) to improve the Platform. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
- No advertising trackers: We do NOT use advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any cross-site tracking for advertising purposes. Your legal situation is private and we treat it that way.
You may clear your browser's cookies and local storage at any time. Doing so will end your current intake session. Most browsers allow you to control cookie settings through their privacy settings menu.
